About Joe Faulkner, M.A., L.P.C.C.
Therapy is a process—kind of like learning to surf, except the waves are your emotions, and I’m here to help you find your balance. I believe healing comes from within, and my role is to support you in accessing your own inner wisdom. My approach blends mindfulness-based practices, body-oriented therapies, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—all aimed at helping you feel more at home in yourself.
I see therapy as a steady, intentional journey. It asks for patience, effort, and a willingness to slow down and listen. I believe healing is holistic—it includes not just what we talk about, but also how we treat our bodies, what we feed our minds, and the environments we move through. It’s all connected.
In our sessions, I aim to create a space that feels warm, grounded, and free of judgment—somewhere you can be honest, confused, curious, or whatever else you need to be. I’m always learning, always curious, and committed to tailoring this work to meet you where you are.
When I’m not in therapist mode, I enjoy comedy, music, moving my body, healthy eating, and connecting with people—especially over a good conversation in the sauna.
If therapy had a sauna equivalent, I’d like to think it’s that moment when you finally exhale and realize you don’t have to hold everything so tightly. My goal is to help you find more of those moments. Ideally, without all the sweating.
If that sounds good to you, take a breath, and let’s see what unexpected things you find yourself releasing, one therapy session at a time.
Let’s work together.
