A man with short light brown hair and a beard sitting outdoors, holding a black and white cat on his lap. He is wearing a green puffy jacket and a backpack, with a blurred background of greenery and a wooden staircase.

Growth is a process, akin to surfing. In this case, the waves are your emotions, sometimes the ride is rough and choppy, and you fall on your ass. Other times the ride is smooth and effortless. I’m here to help you find your balance. I believe healing comes from within, and my role is to support you in accessing your own inner healing wisdom.

I received my B.A. in Philosophy from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, where I first became curious about what it means to live a good and meaningful life. That curiosity eventually led me to Naropa University, where I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on mindfulness-based and contemplative psychotherapy.

My own healing journey has been shaped by therapy, men’s work, plant medicine, breathwork, community, and learning to listen to my body and emotions after years of disconnection. Those experiences continue to guide how I show up for others, with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for the courage it takes to be real.

My therapeutic style blends mindfulness, breathwork, body-oriented approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My aim is to help you feel more grounded, integrated, and at home in yourself. I see therapy as a steady, intentional process that includes not just what we talk about, but how we care for our bodies, nourish our minds, and relate to the world around us.

In sessions, I offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can be honest, confused, curious, or quiet, all parts of you are welcome. I’m always learning and adapting this work to meet you where you are.

When I’m not in therapist mode, you’ll likely find me listening to music, dancing, laughing at good comedy, cooking, or having long conversations in the sauna.

If therapy had a sauna equivalent, I’d like to think it’s that moment when you finally exhale and realize you don’t have to hold everything so tightly. My goal is to help you find more of those moments, ideally without all the sweating.

If that resonates, take a breath, and let’s see what unfolds - one session at a time.
