Mens Issues
Do you find it hard to feel or express what’s really going on inside?
Are you quick to anger, or shut down when emotions rise?
Do you sometimes wonder if something’s wrong with you for even having feelings?
Maybe you feel confused by a partner who’s more emotional, or isolated as a father, divorced man, or someone simply trying to make sense of what it means to be a man today.
I work with men who are ready to start looking inward—challenging long-held beliefs about masculinity, relationships, and strength.
Our culture tells us that being a man means being tough, self-reliant, and in control. We hear “man up,” “don’t cry,” “figure it out.” But those messages often leave men disconnected—from their emotions, their partners, and even themselves.
I’m here to help you uncork those beliefs and find balance between the head and the heart—between logic and emotion—so you can feel grounded, present, and empowered in who you are.
In therapy, we might explore:
Relationships, communication, and emotional expression
Anger, irritability, and stress management
Fatherhood and family dynamics
Healing after divorce or loss
Fear, shame, and self-criticism
Identity, purpose, and authentic masculinity
The balance between independence and connection
Therapy with me is collaborative. It’s not about being told who you are or how to fix things. It’s about slowing down, listening to what’s underneath the surface, and developing a relationship with yourself that feels honest and supportive.
You don’t need to have a plan—or even know what you’re doing. You just have to show up as you are. That’s where the real work begins.
And if you’ve never been in a space like that before, I get it. I’ve been there too.
